Welcome to EQPM 101!

These self-guided learning modules were created to help earthquake program managers and other earthquake preparedness professionals and volunteers explore topics and access information and tools that will support their efforts to improve the resilience of their states and communities. The content of each module was developed with input from relevant experts in each topic area.

The EQPM 101 learning module project was made possible by a grant from FEMA National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program.

How to Use the Modules

To access a module, simply click on Courses in the tool bar, select a course, and click the “Take this Course” button when you’re ready to start. Next, follow the prompts to register. Registration is for security purposes only, and the information you provide will not be shared.

You can go through the lessons in each module in any order, and also skip over or return to lessons later.

Each module concludes with an optional “quiz,” which is simply an opportunity for users to provide feedback.
